A cold storm hit the southern ski areas and Mt Hutt received some snow although a little less than down south. The snowmaking system on Mt Hutt kicked in and ran non stop for over 100 hours coating all the main trails with heaps of snow. Another storm is brewing and looking good to give Mt Hutt a bit of new snow and an opening on the 12th June.
