You can book a rental here! Add the rental product you are after to the cart. When checking out make sure to add your dates in the notes section.

Methven is conveniently located. We have great access to Mt Hutt and Porters Alpine Resort. If BOTH of these mountains are closed while you have rental gear with us, we will issue you a refund (minus processing fee) or full value store credit.
*Note this policy primarily applies during peak season and school holidays. Please ask our staff in-store if you have any questions related to this outside of the busy period.

A damage waiver is available for $2 extra per day. This covers any accidental damage to the gear. Any major repairs including edge repairs, patches, broken or lost skis are not covered with the damage waiver and will result in you being charged for replacement or repair.

To cancel a reservation, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email.
Refunds: If you choose a refund, a processing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Account Credit: Alternatively, you may opt to receive a full-value credit applied to your account with no expiration.
Processing Time: Refunds and credits will be processed within 5–10 business days of confirmation. -
Our multi‑day rate offers excellent value and accounts for the occasional day off. As with a car rental, equipment is charged for while it is in your possession. To avoid additional charges, the equipment must be returned; we will re‑prepare and reserve it for your next days hire.
*Please note this policy primarily applies during school holidays. Outside of peak season, see our team to confirm whether you need to return the gear or may hold it between hires.

A 1-day rental is from 7AM-7.30PM. It’s not a 24-hour period, as gear needs to be serviced overnight. You can collect from 3PM the day before at no extra cost. Gear needs to be returned the evening you are finished using it.

We have many different fitting boots. We account for all shapes and sizes of feet and calves. We run many different brands and styles of ski and snowboard boots in our fleet to ensure we can get you the best fit. We want your feet to be happy after your holiday so we spend time listening to you!

We have ski and snowboard boots that can work for must children aged 2 and older. (15cm length).
We have ski and snowboard boots up to US 15/16.
